Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
Message From The Dean-Dr. Augustus S. Muluvi
The Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FASS) is headed by a Dean who is the administrative and academic head of the faculty. The current Dean for the Faculty of Arts and Social Science is Dr. Augustus S. Muluvi.
He holds a PhD in Economics specializing in Trade and Development Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics both from Dar es Salaam University and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Sociology) from Egerton University.
The Vice-Chancellor

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor is headed by a Vice-Chancellor who is the Chief Executive Officer of the University and is appointed by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in consultation with the University Council.
The Vice-Chancellor is answerable to the Egerton University Council for the overall management of the University, and is the Chair of the University Management Board and the Senate.
