The Centre plays a central role in guiding the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching, learning, research, and the overall administration of the University.

 It ensures that ICT infrastructure, digital services, and application deployments align with current industry standards and emerging technologies. The Centre also supports network and systems management, cybersecurity, data management, user support services, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery across the University.

Our Three Main Functional Arms

  •  Infrastructure This section is charged with ensuring the availability of IT applications and user support administration across various campuses of the University. The ICT Helpdesk falls under this section.
  • Information Systems The section manages innovations, new application development and system implementation or rollout.
  • Information Security It  ensures that our IT resources are safeguarded against any form of attacks.
