Dr. Narendra Rameshchandra Raval, EBS (widely known as GuruBhai), serves as the Chancellor of Egerton University, Kenya’s premier and oldest institution of higher learning.  An industrialist, philanthropist, and dedicated leader, Dr. Raval holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kutch–Bhuj, India, an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Champions Covenant Church (USA), and a Doctor of Science degree from Egerton University.

 As Chancellor, he is tasked with the foundational oversight of the university, conferring degrees, and steering the institution's primary mandate of transforming lives through quality education.  He has expressed immense gratitude for the national responsibility entrusted to him by leadership to guide Egerton University into a leading position for academic, agricultural, and materials science research across East Africa.

 Under his stewardship, the Office of the Chancellor emphasizes a strong commitment to establishing sustainable academic frameworks, expanding regional research capacity, and promoting inclusive excellence for the next generation of global scholars.
