Rationale

Market-Driven Quantitative Expertise

The programme enables students to employ twin disciplines in describing, comparing, and correlating important economic phenomena of production, consumption, and distribution. Recognizing the growing demand for personnel trained in mathematical, statistical, and accounting skills across public and private sectors, this market-driven programme fills critical deficits while considering national growth objectives as envisaged in Vision 2030, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and statutory Sessional papers.

Curriculum Enhancement: Field Attachment

Reviewed to conform with CUE guidelines, the curriculum incorporates an essential field attachment component. This exposure allows learners to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world industrial environments, builds discipline-specific confidence, and strengthens sustainable partnerships and resource links between the University and the economy.
