Rationale
Socio-Economic Dynamics & Industry Alignment
The programme combines the twin disciplines of economics and sociology to prepare students for diverse careers in research institutions, NGOs, and public or private sectors. Graduates are equipped to excel as professional economists, sociologists, or business practitioners within global and national spaces.
Curriculum Enhancement: Field Attachment
Following insights from implementation, CUE guidelines, and external examiner recommendations, the curriculum introduces an essential field attachment component. This exposure bridges theory with practice, builds professional confidence, and enhances collaborative engagement and networks between the University and industry.

The programme provides knowledge, skills, and attitudes for solving basic problems and exposes students to contemporary economic and social issues and their consequences.
