Rationale
Interdisciplinary Global Synergies
The programme combines two closely related disciplines as is the practice in many universities around the world. The diverse courses on offer ensure that students are well-grounded in aspects of the two disciplines, preparing them for highly demanded global careers in research institutions, NGOs, public administration, journalism, diplomacy, corporate business, or professional roles as economists and historians.
Curriculum Enhancement: Field Attachment
Reviewed to ensure full conformity with CUE guidelines and external examiner recommendations, the curriculum introduces an essential field attachment component. This allows learners to acquire practical workplace experience, apply dual-discipline knowledge to the real world, and fosters sustainable collaborative linkages between the University and industry.
