The Division is responsible for formulating and providing policy guidelines on planning, development and management of academic programmes and coordination the operations of Research Centres established by the University.

The Division is headed by a Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Research and Extension who is responsible for supporting the Vice Chancellor in all matters Academic Affairs, Research and Extension including academic, research and extension programmers,Library services and student’s welfare

Quality Objectives

 

  • Review at least 10 academic programmes in line with Competency Based Education Training (CBET) annually.
  • Ensure at least 80% of the students admitted complete their studies within the stipulated time in respective programmes.
  • Ensure protection of Intellectual Property Rights of the University’s innovations.
  • Ensure commercial exploitation of the University’s innovations.

 

The DVC (AF&P) Responsibilities

 

  • Formulating and providing policy guidelines on the planning, development, and management of academic programmes.
  • Coordinating the operations of Research Centres established by the University.
